چکیده
We derive the anti dissipative Serre-Green-Naghdi (SGN) equations in context of nonlinear dynamics surface water waves under wind forcing, finite depth. The anti-dissipation occurs du to continuos transfer energy wave. find solitary wave solution system, with an increasing amplitude action. This leads blow-up time for infinitely large asymptotic space. dispersive, anti-dissipative and fully phenomenon is equivalent linear instability at infinite time. theoretical calculated based on real experimental data. Naturally, breaking takes place before However, amplitude’s growth resulting could be observed. Our results show that, particular type wind-wave tank data used this paper, h=0.14m, rate order 0.1 which experimentally, measurability limit. Evaluation of Turbulence on the Dynamics of Monopile Offshore Wind Turbine under the Wave and Wind Excitations
In recent years, the use of offshore wind turbines has been considered on the agenda of the countries which have a significant maritime boundary due to more speed and stability of wind at sea. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of wind turbulence on the aero-hydrodynamic behavior of offshore wind turbines with a monopile platform. Since in the sea, the wind turbine structures ar...
متن کاملA Modified Galerkin / Finite Element Method for the Numerical Solution of the Serre-green-naghdi System
A new modified Galerkin / Finite Element Method is proposed for the numerical solution of the fully nonlinear shallow water wave equations. The new numerical method allows the use of low-order Lagrange finite element spaces, despite the fact that the system contains third order spatial partial derivatives for the depth averaged velocity of the fluid. After studying the efficacy and the conserva...

متن کاملOn the interaction of wind and steep gravity wave groups using Miles’ and Jeffreys’ mechanisms
The interaction of wind and water wave groups is investigated theoretically and numerically. A steep wave train is generated by means of dispersive focusing, using both the linear theory and fully nonlinear equations. The linear theory is based on the Schrödinger equation while the nonlinear approach is developed numerically within the framework of the potential theory. The interaction between ...
متن کاملA quadtree-adaptive multigrid solver for the Serre-Green-Naghdi equations
The Serre–Green–Naghdi (SGN) equations, also known as the fully-nonlinear Boussinesq wave equations, accurately describe the behaviour of dispersive shoaling water waves. This article presents and validates a novel combination of methods for the numerical approximation of solutions to the SGN equations. The approach preserves the robustness of the original finite-volume Saint-Venant solver, in ...
